One of the most popular ad campaigns of all time, the “I heart NY” slogan has been used as an advertisement for New York City since the 1970s, and it was even turned into a song! Originally created by graphic designer Milton Glaser, the “I heart” idea has been used in thousands if not millions of different contexts, and it has played a big role in shaping the “New York state of mind.” Most of the variations on this slogan are pretty boring advertisements for different locations that just rip off the original idea, but here are a few t-shirts that took this clever concept to another level.
