In previous decades, the fashion trends were visible and apparent. The 1940s featured soft looks that were classic and feminine. The 1950s saw saddle shoes, tight waists and full skirts. The miniskirt and mismatched prints dominated the 1960s while the 70s were filled with bell bottoms and platform shoes. The 80s had skinny jeans and big hair while the 90s were casual and androgynous. Today, the trends are much harder to identify the current “look” is a mash-up of former decades. For those who love the fashion of bygone eras, it is easy to replicate the old styles with a modern twist.
